On Sunday, January 23, around 10 PM, a sugarcane train owned by a sugarcane transport contractor, located on the Pan-American highway in the vicinity of Tuluá, is approached by a group outside the law, who force the driver of the vehicle to block the track and proceed to set fire to its head, marking one of the sides of the sugarcane train. Fortunately, the event leaves no human victims, but it does have economic impacts on the sugarcane agro-industrial sector, the driver and his family, in addition to the inhabitants of Tuluá and its surroundings, who were affected in their peace of mind by this event.

Riopaila Castilla rejects this attack against the sugarcane agroindustry and expresses its solidarity with the contracting company that owns the sugarcane train and its human team, due to the emotional and economic effects that this fact leaves behind.
