Riopaila Castilla launches strategy to engage with local suppliers

The sugar company Riopaila Castilla launched a new relationship strategy with its local suppliers, to whom it explained details of its business initiative that includes, among others, the development of new suppliers.

The launch was made during the First Meeting of Productive Allies, RioAliados, held at the Valle del Pacífico Events Center, where nearly 500 suppliers of goods, works and services from Riopaila Castilla learned about the company's strategy, its socio-environmental commitment and the RioAliados program.

“We currently have two production plants in Valle del Cauca, where we honor our commitment to provide food, green energy and biofuels for Colombia and 42 countries around the world, as part of the work led with more than 1,200 suppliers, who are part of our supply system. Of the total suppliers, 20% are local,” stated Pedro Cardona López, executive president of Riopaila Castilla.
