On Friday, July 1 at 11:15 AM, a tow vehicle (camabaja) owned by the Riopaila Castilla Agroindustrial Group that was transporting machinery inside a sugarcane farm in the municipality of Padilla, Cauca, is approached by a group of hooded men. who were traveling on a motorcycle and who intimidated the vehicle operator with verbal aggression and a firearm, incinerating the entire head of the low bed.

Fortunately, the incident did not leave any human victims, but it did leave economic impacts on the sugarcane agro-industrial sector, the driver and his family, who were affected by this situation.

The situation had the support of the National Army under the leadership of the Alta Montaña Battalion No. 8 and the private security company SSIL, who activated the security protocols. Currently the incident is under investigation by the SIJIN Cauca.
