Riopaila Castilla, this Christmas, joins the rural communities of the municipalities of operation in Valle del Cauca and Cauca, to deliver more than 4,000 gifts.

The Riopaila Castilla Agroindustrial Group leads Christmas activities in 122 rural communities in the departments of Cauca and Valle del Cauca, where more than 4,000 boys and girls receive a Christmas gift in the midst of socio-cultural and recreational spaces.

During these days, humanitarian aid represented in alcohol and sugar is also delivered, in accordance with the requirements received by the communities.

As part of the agenda, spaces for dialogue are generated on the actions carried out during the year 2021 by the Agroindustrial Group in each of the 122 communities and some projects or activities to be carried out in 2022 are outlined, all of them within the framework of the socio-environmental strategy of Riopaila Castilla.

“As a company, it fills us with energy from the heart to share these moments with the communities where we operate, especially those in rural areas, who tell us they have less access to these types of benefits. Dialogue with the territories where we operate has always characterized us, but when we add to these spaces, sharing with children, their smiles recharge us with energy”, said Carlos Augusto Gómez, Sustainability Manager.

The delivery of gifts and humanitarian aid is carried out through the representatives of the Community Action Boards and some community leaders, maintaining biosecurity measures at all times. Volunteers from the company also participate in the process.
