Zarzal, Valle del Cauca, April 14, 2023. With the aim of improving operating capacity and competitiveness, responding to good sustainability practices, the Riopaila Castilla Agroindustrial Group announces that starting April 17, optimization work will be carried out at the Riopaila Plant.

These are the adaptations of the #1 Turbogenerator of the plant, which seeks to strengthen the energy self-efficiency of the company's agro-industrial operation, which ratifies its commitment to the use of renewable resources for self-supply and guarantees continuity in delivery of green energy to the national electrical grid.

These works are scheduled to be carried out until April 22. The work will generate steam puffs, a situation that will not generate negative impacts on the environment. However, during these works, high levels of noise could be generated in the Riopaila Plant facilities and could be heard as far as the town of La Paila.
